MARIO MARTINEZ

mmartinezlg

Dr. Martinez is a U.S. clinical psychologist who lectures worldwide on his theory of Biocognition. His theory is based on research that demonstrates how thoughts and their biology develop in a cultural history. Modern science continues to divide mind and body as well as ignore the influence cultural history has in the process of aging, health and illness. For example, cultures that support ageing as a positive development associated with increased wisdom and abilities have higher numbers of centenarians living healthier lives than cultures that view ageing as a process of increased deterioration.
Dr Martinez specialises in psychoneuroimmunology and has published numerous professional articles on biocognition. In his psychological novel The Man from Autumn, he teaches how the mysterious stigmata can help the health sciences understand the beliefs that wound and heal the body. Dr. Martinez has investigated cases of alleged stigmata for the Catholic Church, the BBC and National Geographic.
Dr. Martinez lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and spends the autumns in Celtic Spain and Colonia, Uruguay.
